Blog? Yes, Please!!

Dear Blogland,
It is nice to meet you (or see you again).  It might sound lame that Chris and I have wanted to blog together for a long time.  We designed this blog a while before we were married, but we decided we would never be interesting enough on our own-together we might stand a chance.  Who knows how well we will keep this up.  I think it will all depend on the encouragement of our friends and family.  We do not have a baby or a dog-so we apologize ahead of time for whatever posts we come up with.  We hope we can still relate to our readers.  We are planning to get a pet rock or a fish, whatever we decide-we know we will call it Howard (the first).  We were hoping for a dog, of course, but unfortunately Nashville rentals with dog options are few and far between.  We know it's a pet friendly place, but we are convinced all the pets live outside or perhaps only those who own houses can own pets...Alas, if you happen to live in Nashville and have a pet-you have two people here who would love to pet sit for you...

Anyway, back to the point, we are happy to be joining the blogosphere and hope you enjoy the ramblings of our everyday.  I will be starting my residency soon, so you might not hear much from me once that happens, but I expect you will see a good bit from me over the next few weeks.  Our wedding was very DIY, so I would love to get that crafty energy out into the universe.  We are experimenting with cooking and would love to share our successes-although our failures will probably be more interesting to write about.  We are excited to share parts of our life with all of our family and friends who aren't so close in location to us anymore, and we hope this allows for us to remember some great times as newlyweds, as a new doctor, and share with you all what this time is like for us.
